Last night, I was terribly tired and would have been unable to continue working on my English exercises, although I knew I needed them. I felt terribly guilty and only wanted to relax but, on the other hand, I really couldn’t afford to stop studying!
So I decided to watch a movie on Netflix and some episodes of “Collateral”. I love Carey Mulligan and the British accent! Of course, I put the subtitles in English and I was happy to have found another alternative to learn, which was far less tiring, and actually even quite relaxing. So, find out here how to learn Italian in stress-free way. 🙂
HOW TO TEACH YOURSELF ITALIAN
There are many reasons to start learning a language through TV series and movies! First of all, as you know, stories engage our brain and body. Being emotionally engaged is the most important criteria to learn a language.
Furthermore, visual aids can help to contextualize, and hearing words in their context helps bolstering vocabulary. Furthermore, the characters in movies and TV series can be considerer as friends of whom you find out more while watching. Last but not least, you can understand different cultural aspects effortlessly.
So why not trying matching entertainment with learning?

HOW TO LEARN ITALIAN FEELING STRESS-FREE
You can learn Italian in a stress-free way that engages you and motivates you. That way will help your memory to encode considerable pieces of language, to store them and to retrieve them. The sociolinguistic and cultural aspects, as well as non-verbal language, are easily teachable by video.
As a result, you can finally learn in a different way than with traditional language courses. Finally, you can release your real potential, without being stressed with homework, exercises, or non-motivating inputs. That is the main reason why we love working with videos so much.
HOW TO IMPROVE DIFFERENT KINDS OF LANGUAGE AND BUILDING CONFIDENCE
The more interesting series, which I love because of the main female characters, are “Non uccidere” and “L’allieva“. Furthermore, concerning the masculine ones, I’ll have to go for “L’ispettore Coliandro” and “La porta rossa”. You can travel along Italy from North to South only by living through TV series: from Aosta with “Rocco Schiavone” to Vigata with “Il Commissario Montalbano“. You can hear Italian the way it’s naturally spoken and to learn slang, informal language, and dialects. This way, you’ll be able to understand spoken Italian everywhere in Italy.
ITALIAN CONVERSATION BECOMES UNDERSTANDABLE
As a result, you can improve your listening and speaking skills, understand different accents and be finally able to communicate with different Italian people.
